Requirements:
- Proof of Address (3 months)
- Job Letter
- Two Valid Government Issued IDs
- Most recent pay slips of 1 month
- Must be employed for 1 year
- Must have an account at SKCU
Credit Card Tips:
- Sign the back of your card as soon as you receive it
- Log on to 4csonline.com to create an online account. This will allow you ti keep abreast of transactions and payments and observe any irregular transactions
- We have gone "GREEN" therefore monthly statement can be accessed online
- You have the ability to select a pin via your online account to facilitate point of sale transactions or cash advances
- Never disclose your PIN to anyone
- For online shopping, only use secure, reputable websites and avoid shopping on public Wi-Fi
Fees and Payments to note of:
The minimum payment to be made shall be total amount due at the end of a Billing Period in respect of any one or more of the following:
- 5% of the outstanding balance due on the Credit Card Account at the end of the Billing Period or $20.00 whichever shall be greater
- Any minimum payment(s) due and unpaid in respect of any previous Billing Period or Billing Periods
- Any amount(s) due (if any) in excess of the Credit Card Line, which remain unpaid at the end of the current Billing Period
- All interest and other charges accrued due under the terms of the Agreement at the end of the current Billing Period. The minimum payment so advised will be rounded up to the next whole dollar. The payment due date shall be at least 20 days from the end of the current Billing Period
- A late payment of $15.00 in the currency of the account will be payable by the cardholder if the Minimum Payment is over due
- A fee of $25.00 will be charged for the reprinting of a billing statement if cardholder misplaces/discards original statement
- A fee of $25.00 will be charged in respect of each new Credit Card Account and each new Credit Card issued becaused of lost/stolen/damaged/misused Credit Cards
- An Annual Fee of EC$100.00 - in respect of the Credit Card issued to a Principal Classic cardholder and a EC$50.00 - in respect of each additional Credit Card issued to a Classic Cardholder must be paid whether or not the credit Card is used
- An Additional Fee of EC$150.00 - in respect of the Credit Card issed to a principal Gold Cardholder and of EC$75.00 - in respect of each additional Credit card is used
- An Annual Business Fee of EC$400.00 for the Company and first employee is charged for the first year, and EC$200.00 for each year thereafter. An annual fee of EC$165.00 for each additional employee is charged. These fees are due whether or not the Credit Card is used
- The US$ equivalent would be charged for US Dollar Accounts
Payments Made to the Credit Card Account will be applied in the following order:
- Interest on overdue payments in respect of any Billing Periods
- Interest on amounts due at the end of the current Billing Period
- Fees on amounts in excess of the Credit Card Line
- Annual fees and all other fees and charges accrued due under the terms of the agreement not otherwise specifically set out the clause
- Overdue payments on account pf principals in respect of any Billing Periods
- Amounts in excess of the Credit Card Line
- Amounts on account of principal due at the end of the current Billing Period
Glossary:
Authorized User – A cardholder to whom an additional Credit Card has been issued Clause 32 hereof.
SKCCU/SKCU – St. Kitts Credit Co-operative Union / St. Kitts Credit Union
Cardholder – Any person to whom or for whose use a Credit Card issued by SKCCU and includes a person to whom a Credit Card is is provisions of Clause 32.
Cash Advance – Any payment of cash obtained from the Credit Card.
Credit Card – The SKCCU Card currently issued to a Cardholder.
Cash Advance – “an” account in the name of the principal Cardholder maintained by the SKCCU in relation to Credit Card Transitions, and include a joint account applied for by more than one person.
Credit Card Cash Limit – The maximum total amount of Cash Advances as notified by SKCCU to the Cardholder from time to time which may be obtained.
Credit Card Line – The maximum allowable amount of Credit Outstanding at any on time.
Credit Card Transaction – The purchase of goods or the obtaining of services or cash against use of the Credit Card, the Credit number or in any manner authorized by the Cardholder for debit to the Credit Card Account or the utilizing of any services made available to the Cardholder by SKCCU from time to time in respect of the Credit Card.
Merchant – The Corporation, Firm, or individual who has agreed to honour the Credit Card upon presentation under the terms and conditions of SKCCU standard Merchant Agreement.
PIN – The personal identification number of the Cardholder.
Principal Cardholder – The Cardholder in whose name a Credit Card Account is maintained by SKCCU.
Billing Period – The period between the dates of any two consecutive billing statements.
