St. Kitts Credit Union Partners with Security Forces United Football Club
Basseterre, St Kitts – August 14, 2025: The St. Kitts Credit Union (SKCU) is proud to announce a significant new partnership with the Security Forces United Football Club (SFUFC), a collaboration designed to foster youth development, community building, and a stronger future through the power of sports. This initiative underscores SKCU’s unwavering commitment to investing in the youth of St. Kitts and Nevis.
The partnership officially launched at a celebratory event on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025, at 4:45 PM, at the NCI Grounds. The event brought together youth teams, parents, coaches, SKCU executives, club staff and local media.
“This partnership is about more than football; it’s about building values, strengthening our community, and investing in the holistic development of our young people,” said Mr. Hodge, Product Development Manager of SKCU,” By supporting both boys’ and girls’ teams, we are championing inclusivity and progress, ensuring that every young athlete has the opportunity to thrive.”
“I am very grateful and thankful that the St Kitts Credit Union has come on board to sponsor the various football teams of the Security Force, football is an integral part of a lot of our young person’s lives” said one of the parents, “I just want to say thanks for believing in our young people and sponsoring them.”
“We started on this journey 8 years ago with one football team and today we have seen four different programs” said coach Bergan, “We are happy for the partnership with SKCU and we are looking to winning a championship! We want our athletes to take their skills to the next level, and further their education through sports to return and build the nation. This sponsorship will aid in their dreams being possible.”
SKCU is proud of the hard work and dedication that the youths of the Security Forces United Football Club have been doing through sports and is happy to be a sponsor.
